St. Elizabeth School Auction

2/23/2023

Picture
The St. Elizabeth School Auction is organized by parent volunteers who are passionate about the cause to bring school families, parishioners, alumni and community members together for an evening of fellowship and fun, all while raising funds to benefit the children of our school.

19th Annual
St. Elizabeth School Auction

The STE Auction has become the largest fundraiser for our school, raising money to support an updated math curriculum, new playground equipment, upgrading school security systems and upgraded technology throughout campus and all classrooms.  All funds are utilized with great care and discretion to benefit the children of our school.

Your support helps St. Elizabeth Catholic School continue its long-standing tradition of providing quality education to children.

St. Elizabeth School Kindness Week

1/31/2023

Picture
STE will kick off our first annual Kindness Week. Over the next seven days the school and community will find ways to overcome hate by stepping outside of our bubble and creating a ripple change of kindness and understanding in our world.
We will have fun activities in school and at home. Youth leaders from the SevenDays organization will join our school assembly and each day there will be a new theme to help us focus on kindness and understanding of differences.

Kindness Week at STE!

Visit this website for all the information to guide you and your family through the STE Kindness Week! This includes an interactive and printable calendar plus more downloadables!

Friday, February 10:
DISCOVER!
Take time to learn and listen and discover something new. Find out something about a friend or family member that you didn’t know before. Share your new discovery with friends and family tonight!

Please use our Kindness Week interactive calendar to find ways to move and explore. Sunday, February 12, after mass, join us to learn about other religions in our neighborhood and ask questions you’ve always wanted to ask.

Monday, February 13:

CONNECT! Take some time today to reconnect with family and friends. Find someone that you want to get to know better and spend some time with them. Ask them questions, do something fun, or just let them know you want to be friends!

Tuesday, February 14:
LOVE!
Happy Valentine's Day! Take some time today to reach out to those who care about you. Make it a day filled with appreciation. Let your teachers, coaches, friends and family know that you LOVE them!

Wednesday, February 15:
Take Care of You!
Today, take time to care for YOU– mind, body and soul. Spend a few minutes thinking about how to best take care of YOU. Find activities that engage your body, mind and spirit. At mass today we will honor former STE May Queen Terri LeManno who tragically lost her life because of hate.

Thursday, February 16:

ONWARD! How are you going to take the lessons you learned this week ONWARD? How are you going to make the world a better place through your faith? Put on your kindness cap and think of some goals, then write them down and carry on the positive energy.
As we enter the Lenten season we can carry on the spirit of kindness week.

Friday, February 17:
WORLD KINDNESS DAY!!!

Class of 2023: Improvisation

Traditionally, STE 8th grade students are given an opportunity to work with a professional artist to learn the background and practices of improvisation.

After our COVID hiatus, and thanks to Mr. John Mulvey, the class of 2023 learned about and performed Improv in a matter of days.

View the video here.

Mr. Mulvey is a former STE parent and a 2022 Lighton Prize Honoree. He the serves the community at Kansas City Young Audiences.
