 SCHOOL ADVISORY COUNCIL
APPLICATION TO SERVE

ST. ELIZABETH SCHOOL
School Advisory Council
Application to Serve

Applications for 2025 School Board Elections are due March 28
The St. Elizabeth School Advisory Council (AKA "School Board") is an elected group of eight individuals who volunteer their services to the Pastor, Principal and school.
Members are elected to two year terms. Voting members are charged with the responsibility of providing educational opportunities for the children of the school through consultation, evaluation and support. The School Principal, Parish Pastor, Parish Business and Operations Manager and Parish Director of Development and Stewardship are non-voting members of this council.

The School Advisory Council meets in regular session the second Tuesday of each month. School Board is consultative and advisory in its capacity regarding school policies and is not involved in the day-to-day administration of the school. The Board provides regular counsel and support to the Principal and Pastor in matters of planning, financing, education, development, and policy.

Applications for the School Advisory Council are accepted beginning on March 8th and closes on March 28th.  Elections, if necessary, will be distributed online over the weekend of April 11-13. All current staff, parents/guardians of students and parishioners over the age of 18 are eligible to vote!

The St. Elizabeth School Advisory Council (aka "School Board") is looking for five new members for the 2025-2027 term. Interested candidates learn more about the Board on the school website and should submit their applications no later than March 28, 2025.

There are currently FIVE school council seats open for the 2025-2027 term.

This includes:
FOUR parishioners or non-parishioners with one or more children enrolled in the school
ONE parishioner without children enrolled in the school

If you have any questions please contact Leslie Switzer, School Advisory Council President, at [email protected].

APPLICATIONS for 2025-2027 will close March 28, 2025
